Nicole Francisco

Nicole was born and raised on the rural North Shore of Oah’u, Hawai’i. No, she does not surf. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way. Nicole received her BA in Political Science from the University of Utah in 2012. She is a third year PhD student in the Political Science department. She will be a GTF is Ethnic Studies in the Spring and hopes to GTF in the WGS department in the future. Nicole explores many avenues of activism and engagement with social justice. She believes deeply in animal welfare and prison reform. She is currently the chair of the Queer Caucus of the GTFF. She endeavors to organize a chapter of Pink & Black in Eugene, with the mission of fostering penpal relationships with LGBTQ inmates
