OMAS is Changing!

Student Lunch meeting to discuss the new Center for Multicultural Academic Excellence

Please join us for an open discussion about the expansion of services to students served by OMAS and other multicultural programs at UO.  The evolving project — called the Center for Multicultural Academic Excellence — will be explained and your questions will be answered by Vice President for Student Affairs Robin Holmes and the Center directors, Audrey Cramer, Jane Irungu and Chicora Martin.

The forum will be held Thursday, November 3rd at Noon in the Fir Room.  Lunch will be served — it is free and open to all.

National Black Graduate Student Association Utah Chapter Western Regional Conference

The National Black Graduate Student Association Western Regional Conference will be held from October 21-23, 2011 in Utah. The U of O Graduate School has funding to send 1 to 2 students to attend the conference. Please contact Kassy Fisher, Assistant Dean of the Grad School, at kmfisher@uoregon.edu for more information on travel scholarships.
